New Sales Record for MOLLY MAID
It’s easy for Pam Bader OBE, and Chief Executive MOLLY MAID – the UK’s most recognised name in the domestic cleaning industry – to describe in one word their 2016 company results – “Wow”. Though the company is now in its’ third decade of operation, Bader says that 2016 will stand out as one of the best for the company that has become synonymous with housecleaning in the United Kingdom. “We set another record (for us) in the number of homes we cleaned and the number of new customers who joined us and in any year that you set a record, I think ‘Wow’ really is the best description”.
With more than 275,000 homes cleaned in 2016 and turnover eclipsing the £20 million level, up almost 8% from 2015, the company continues to show that a Franchise Owner and Brand focused culture is the best way to achieve success in an industry that is consistently recognised as one of the highest growth sectors in the UK. Asked if she is surprised at these results enlists a puzzled look and quick reply from the first female Chair of the British Franchise Association. “Not at all. Our Franchise Owners really are the best in the industry and when you combine this with the significant investments we have made in technology and our website, I would be surprised if we weren’t setting these records.”
MOLLY MAID continues to expand across the UK to meet the growing demand for its services. The industry is valued at almost £3 billion annually and MOLLY MAID is by far the most well-known national brand. Recent research revealed that one in five people were familiar with the MOLLY MAID brand, which was more than two times greater than its’ nearest competitor.
