Supporting Connection and Empowerment: Molly Maid Franchisee Jenny Adamthwaite’s Partnership with Age Concern Epsom & Ewell

Our Franchise Owner, Jenny Adamthwaite, has demonstrated her commitment to making a meaningful difference in the local community by sponsoring a quiz night in support of Age Concern Epsom & Ewell, an independent charity that has been serving older people in the Borough since 1947. Jenny’s involvement is part of her mission to help address the growing challenge of loneliness and social isolation among older adults, ensuring they feel connected, supported, and empowered.

Through Jenny’s sponsorship, Age Concern Epsom & Ewell was able to host a fun-filled quiz night, bringing the community together and raising much-needed funds to sustain their essential services. These services include Information and Advice, Medical Transport, Social Support, and Befriending, all of which play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for older people in the area. With no statutory funding, the charity relies solely on the generosity of supporters like Jenny to continue their invaluable work.

The funds raised through the quiz night will go directly towards improving the lives of older people by enabling them to remain socially active and independent, breaking the cycle of loneliness. Age Concern Epsom & Ewell’s mission is to provide a wide range of services that foster independence and well-being, while also providing comfort and a sense of community to older individuals. Events like this help ensure that older adults are not left behind, but instead, feel engaged, connected, and supported in the later stages of life.

Jenny Adamthwaite’s dedication to helping Age Concern reflects her broader belief that we can all play a role in supporting the most vulnerable members of our community. Her involvement in the quiz night is a testament to the power of local businesses coming together with charitable organisations to create lasting impacts.

Through Jenny’s generosity and the tireless efforts of Age Concern Epsom & Ewell, we are proud to recognise a cause that promotes dignity, respect, and empowerment for all older adults in the Borough.
